About Spitters – Past and Present

The origin of Spitters is set in the distant past.

In 1955, Spitters started as a small electrotechnical company in Veldhoven.
Later, under the influence of housing corporations, the first community antenna systems were built. This was the start of the nowadays well-known cable operators (UPC/Ziggo), which linked together these community antenna systems to ultimately arrive at the current telecom infrastructure.

Spitters has gone through these developments and in the end has become a multidisciplinary enterprise, which in the course of the years has developed its specialism in the Turn-Key production (engineering, construction, maintenance and management) of telecom infrastructures.
Both copper and fiber networks, as well as hybrid forms are part of our specialism.
Spitters is able to realize large-scale rollout of these types of networks, in which customer perception is at the heart.

In short:
From cable television, Spitters has gone through the entire development in broadband networks in all its aspects.
Spitters is active in the rollout of coaxial and fiber networks, such as FttH and FttB.
Furthermore, we build, maintain and manage fiber networks for several clients on a Turn-Key basis.
